Al-Mutaqadima Schools Company signs an MoU with EF Education First to develop English language instruction for its staff and students
Al-Mutaqadima Schools Company (MSC) has signed an MoU with EF Education First, the world’s largest private education company, to provide English language training programs to the leaders, teachers, students, and guardians of MSC’s schools, inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The MoU was signed by Abdullah Al-Haqbani, CEO of the MSC, and John Bernstrom, General Manger of EF Education First in Saudi Arabia. The signing was attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Haqbani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MSC, Mr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Murshed, Head of the Education Sector, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Fraih, Assistant for Education and Education Affairs, and Dr. Muhammad Askar, Academic Director of International Education, Mr. Ali Al-Balaghi, Director of Business Development at EF, Ms. Helen Indelicato, Director of EF English Center Riyadh, and Mr. Daoud Maach, Marketing Manager.
Based on the MoU, EF Saudi Arabia will provide remote training programs for English language teachers at all of MSC’s schools, and will organize English language workshops for the leaders and directors of MSC’s school complexes, and others. Moreover, EF will give free English language webinars to all MSC’s students, and local English language courses for the students, employees and staff at special rates.
The MoU also stipulates that EF will secure special facilities for test takers from MSC’s schools to take the EF Standard English Test (EF SET), including a dedicated online page developed specifically for them. EF will also offer dedicated open days at the EF English Center Riyadh for MSC’s students and will provide introductory meetings for their guardians regarding EF’s courses inside and outside the Kingdom.
MSC’s students interested in studying abroad will enjoy special offers. EF will providee them with assistance and give them a unique and appropriate learning environment while outside.
EF Saudi Arabia’s General Manager John Bernstrom praised the agreement, expressing his satisfaction with the cooperation and partnership with the largest educational company in Saudi Arabia, adding that all of EF’s schools worldwide are ready to receive MSC’s students, teachers, and staff members.
Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Haqbani expressed his satisfaction with the partnership with EF too, the language provider employing over 55 thousand teachers and staff members in 116 countries, and the only international educational company that has a local English language institute and offices in the Kingdom. He expressed that the collaboration with EF will provide a great addition to MSC’s students, teachers, and employees, and is an important step to develop the English language skills for all students, employees, and leaders in MSC’s schools.
